From our Hotel Stoana you hike on #path_7 through meadows, past the farms Kerschbaum to the farm Matzelerhof, then on through the eastern wooded slopes of Valle degli Orsi up to Malga Hochfeldalm and on to Malga Bärentalalm at 1874 m. Return by the same route. #hike: 4 hours - 790m elevation gain.

Start: San Giovanni in Valle Aurina. Path: Nos. 18, 8, 6. Walking time approx. 5 hours. Highlights: the impressive #waterfall-Frankbach, the #Sentiero- delle-Streghe with bells, stone trough, bear park, giant chair and a family of bears. After approx. 1 hour you reach the Alpine hut Malga Bizat where refreshments are served in a beautiful location at 1430 m. Past the newly built #hanf–chapel you climb on path no. 6 that is lined with carved wooden sculptures, to the Malga Holzerböden with #Alpine-cheese-dairy: #panoramic-views to Monte Lovello and Sasso Nero in the Zillertal Alps. Descent is via Sentiero dei Cacciatori where you can admire hand-painted hunting motifs.
